9/13/21 Board minutes

PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 13, 2021
A regular meeting of the Birnamwood Village Board was held on Monday evening, September 13, 2021
at the Matsche Center.
All members were present.
Also present: Luke Reimer, Jon Block & Chris Jensen.
President Sprague called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Minutes were read and approved.
Bills were presented.
Schmidt/R. Resch m/s/c to approve bills. Roll call vote – all yes.
Trustee Dombrowski spoke with Resch Ins. In regard to our upcoming renewal. Al Resch will attend our next meeting.
Trustee E. Resch spoke about the sidewalk replacement on Wausau St by the American Legion and Chet & Emil’s.
A bid was received from American Asphalt for $10,125.00 to do 10′ x 150′ on Rew Ln and 11′ x 450′ on Corazalla Dr. Schmidt/Behm m/s/c to accept bid. Roll call vote – all yes.
We will be receiving $14,000.00 in LRIP funds.
Don, Mike & Jody will be on the committee for finding a WWTP assistant.
The clerk consulted with other area municipalities to see if they would be changing Trick or Treat times this year due to Halloween being on a Sunday. They are not. Our hours will remain at 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Halloween.
A building permit was received from Bryant Pfingsten.
Rich Olson submitted a bid from North Branch Electric to install a flood light for the flag at Rivertronics Stadium. Decision was tabled until members can look into proper placement.
Receipts were reported for August.
