5/23/22 Board minutes

PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING MAY 23, 2022
A regular meeting of the Birnamwood Village Board was held on Monday evening, May 23, 2022 at the Matsche Center.
Trustee Behm was absent.
Also present: Tom Gatz, Rick Parker, Dave Humblet & Wayne Clark
President Sprague called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Rick Parker asked for reduction in sewer charges due to outside water leak.
Dave Humblet spoke in regard to Legion property progress.
Minutes were read and approved.
Bills were presented.
R. Resch/Schmidt m/s/c to approve bills. Roll call vote – all yes.
Water heater at ball park is working now.
We are again eligible for a $500.00 safety grant through our insurance company.
Village Hall steps need to be repaired.
Three lights are out at the ball park. Fundraiser account will pay for the lift truck to install them. More replacements will need to be ordered. Questions on outlets in the concession stand.
Televising of the sewer lines has been completed.
Fine screen at sewer plant will be installed this week.
E.Resch/Klumpyan m/s/c to grant temporary license to Birnamwood Little League. Roll call vote – all yes. Paperwork has not been received yet for Birnamwood Baseball Team.
Recycling grant was received for $555.58. This is based on per capita basis. $0.253 per person.
Discussion was held in regard to phone and truck usage for Conner.
President Sprague reported on the latest information for Ambulance fulltime service funding.
