PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING MAY 27, 2024
A regular meeting of the Birnamwood Village Board was held on Monday evening, May 27, 2024 at the Matsche Center.
All members were present
Also present: Conner Opper, Jeff Reesman, Phoenix Horacek & dad, Nathan Martinez May & mom
Meeting was called to order at 7:10 p. m.
Jeff Reesman with North East Asphalt will be using part of the Matsche Center parking lot
for his field office and use of our electric for $750.00
Phoenix Horacek & Nathan Martrinez May attended for credit towards a Boy Scout badge.
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Minutes were read and approved from May 13, 2024
Bills were presented.
Holding payment to Hanson’s until we verify correct amount owed.
Voiding check 3376 $1284.88 and reissue for only Village part of $963.52
R. Resch / Schmidt m/s/c to approve bills. Roll call vote – all yes.
Resch Tile submitted adjustments for their building project
Electrical work at Birchwood Park is underway
Klumpyan/Dombrowski m/s/c to purchase new trailer from Tim’s trailers for $2300.00
Roll call vote – all yes
Bids are out for Field St.
Conner will by flushing hydrants this week. If your water looks discolored let the cold water run until clear
Safety Grant reimbursement received for $500.00
Committee members updated and Village is looking for three new committee members

PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING MAY 13, 2024
A regular meeting of the Birnamwood Village Board was held on Monday evening, May 13, 2024 at the Matsche Center.
All members were present, except Trustee Dombrowski & Trustee Cieslewicz
Also present: Conner Opper, Rueben Eckardt, Kevin Lex, Jolene Lex
Meeting was called to order at 7:10 p. m.
Kevin & Jolene Lex requested that the Village allow adjustments to parking near their business, Village will look into this situation
Rueben Eckardt requested Village follow through with Ball Diamond cleaning rules
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Minutes were read and approved from April 22, 2024
Bills were presented.
R. Resch / Schmidt m/s/c to approve bills. Roll call vote – all yes.
Insurance refund to Village in the amount of $1,674.00
Building permits issued to: Rick Parker, JoAnna Wyman, Kevin & Jolene Lex
Electrical work at Birchwood Park is underway
E. Resch/Klumpyan m/s/c to approve picnic licenses to American Legion for Polka Days & their summer picnic. Roll call vote – all yes
Bids are out for Field St repaving
New phone number for the Village is 715-449-0059
Office hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays 9 a. m. to Noon
