PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING JUNE 24, 2024
A regular meeting of the Birnamwood Village Board was held on Monday evening, June 24, 2024
at the Matsche Center.
All members were present. Also present: Conner Opper, Jeff Reeseman & Nick Novy
Meeting was called to order at 7:35 p. m. Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Bid opening for the work on Field St:
American Asphalt: Project #1: $28,052.40 and Project #2: $27,492.40, RC Pavers: Project #1: $23,836.00 and Project #2: $22,167.48
Midstate Asphalt: Project #1: $32,500.00 and Project #2: $32,500.00, Northeast Asphalt: Project #1: $21,925.00 and Project #2: $23,200.00
Minutes were read and approved with corrections from June 10, 2024
Corrections: Green Bay Pipe and TV Cost $4,500.00, The WWTP annual report of an F only refers to the phosphorus levels,
The public hearing is for the WWTP Facility Planning on upgrades and modifications on 6/24/2024 not 6/27/2024.
The lease for Northeast Asphalt is for $750.00 per month.
Bills were presented.
R. Resch / Cieslewicz m/s/c to approve bills. Roll call vote – all yes.
E. Resch/Klumpyan m/s/c to accept bid from Northeast Asphalt, pending their quote meets the specifications. Roll call vote – all yes
Storage/Shipping Container Ordinance reviewed.
Building Permits: Anne Drinkwater, Joseph Unverzagt, Jared Plautz.
Firework Permit: Bruce Mitchell
Schmidt/Klumpyan m/s/c Temporary Class B license for St. Philomena Parish Church Picnic August 11, 2024. Roll call vote – all yes
Two new committee members are still needed for Village Planning and Village Housing
Dombrowski/R. Resch m/s/c to approve alcohol license’s for:
Dollar General: Class A, Cigarette, Operator’s for Samantha Abt & Samantha Faust.
Remington Oil: Class A, Cigarette, Operator’s for Carla Blumenberg, Alan Jones, Tanya Opper, Deann Waldner, Danny Faust, & Nicole Meister.
Chet & Emil’s: Class B, Cigarette, Operator’s for Reid Praslowicz, Edwin Resch, April Resch, Cindy Lex, Dorothy Resch, Jeremy Timm,
Douglas Praslowicz. Roll call vote – all yes with Ed Resch Abstaining his vote.
