PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING APRIL 22, 2024
A regular meeting of the Birnamwood Village Board was held on Monday evening, April 22, 2024 at the Matsche Center.
All members were present, except Trustee Klumpyan.
Also present: Conner Opper
Meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m.
Oath of office issued to Jody Dombrowski
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Minutes were read and approved from April 8, 2024
Bills were presented.
R.Resch/Schmidt m/s/c to approve bills. Roll call vote – all yes.
Discussed new property tax law and what it may mean for the Village owned properties.
Building permits issued to: Rosella Heiny, Mark Klumpyan, Bradley Resch, & Janice Steebs.
Cameras at sewer plant are installed and active.
Tractor for Village has been purchased.
Sewer plant overhead door bid from Clark Construction for $3,575.00
R. Resch/Schmidt m/s/c to accept bid. Roll call vote – all yes.
Summer help will be doing a walk through with Conner this week.
New phone number for Village office tentatively on April 24, 2024.

Building permit was issued to Jeff and Catherine Gutowski
Electrical work on Bell Tower is completed. Work on Birchwood Park to start soon.
Polka Committee providing funds for concession stand upgrade
Klumpyan/E. Resch m/s/c to approve licenses for Birnamwood Little League and Birnamwood Baseball . Roll call vote – all approved
Past due water bill letters were delivered by Conner.
Cieslewicz/Klumpyan m/s/c to approve fireworks permit for Les Cigel with conditions limiting signage. Roll call vote – all approved
Klumpyan/Cieslewicz m/s/c to accept bid from Safe Alert to install 4 security cameras for $2,600.00. Roll call vote – all approved
New phone service for Matsche Center is in progress.
E. Resch/Klumpyan m/s/c to adopt Floodplain Ordinance. Roll call vote – all yes
Receipts for March were reported.
