| A regular
meeting of the Birnamwood Village Board was held on Monday evening, June 10,
2019 |
| at the
Matsche Center. | |
| All members
were present. | |

present: Jody Dombrowski, Ed Resch, Chris Jensen, Diane Haas, Jim Karpf,
Miriam Nelson & Dennis Rew |
| President
Sprague called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. |
| Dennis Rew
spoke on behalf of the WBSD in regard to abandoning the South end of the
alley adjoining their |
| property.
Diane Haas, a neighbor who also has property adjoining the alley,
approves. |
| Jody
Dombrowski reported that they continue to have problems with dogs running at
large and 4 wheelers |
| driving
repetitively in the area. She would also like to advertise for holding a card
club at the Matsche Center. |
| Jim Karpf
filed a complaint in regard to barking dogs, garbage blowing around and
requested a dead end street |
| sign for the
North end of High St. | |
| Trustee
Diers verified that the meeting has been posted. |
| Minutes were
read and approved. |
| Bills were
presented. | |
| Behm/Schmidt
m/s/c to approve bills as presented. Roll call vote – all yes. |
| Fence
repairs needed at ball park. | |
| Merry-go-round
installation is being arranged. |
| Shawano
County DNR shocked the Birchwood Pond. Many fish are still alive but should
add more bluegills. |
| Information
was also given for other options of pond maintenance and improvements. |
| A company
from Athens gave an estimate of $2,000.00 plus mileage for windmill
installation. |
| $6,000.00
estimate for blacktopping Matthew Dr. |
| A letter was
received from Dave Jozwiak in regard to the status of his property on Maple
St. |
| Trustee
Schmidt reported that the Community events suggested would be opened to
children and |
| adults and
others to assist are welcome. |
| Only
blacktopping bid was received. Clerk will check if the ad was posted
correctly. |
