PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 10, 2022
A regular meeting of the Birnamwood Village Board was held on Monday evening, January 10, 2022 at the Matsche Center.
All members were present.
Also present: Luke Reimer, Megan Olson, Chris Jensen, Phil Tautges & Jon Block
President Sprague called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Phil Tautges answered questions in regard to replacing the lights in the Matsche Center.
Schmidt/Behm m/s/c to accept proposal for 120 lights @ $8.00 with labor of $300.00 and an $180.00 refund. Roll call vote – all yes. Thank you to Phil for hanging and taking down Christmas lights.
Minutes were read and approved.
Bills were presented.
Schmidt/Behm m/s/c to approve bills. Roll call vote – all yes.
Complaints were received in regard to the abandoned Barbershop.
WW Systems who contracted with us for Tower Space has been purchased by Cirrinity.
An engineer will be visiting tomorrow to discuss issues of the sewer plant.
WWTP assistant committee will be Mike, Don & Ed.
Auditors will be here Monday-Wednesday. ARPA funds can be considered loss revenue
and be used at our discretion.
Clerk has been working with the assessor on many issues, including mobile home park
assessments and taxes.
The Board reviewed the list for 2021 accomplishments and 2022 plans. Jody will update it
and have it posted on the website and it will be included in the next newsletter.
Klumpyan/E. Resch m/s/c to raise hourly pay for snow plowing to $20.00. Roll call vote –
all yes.
R. Resch/Schmidt to change fees for message board to $5.00 a day, $20.00 a week.
Roll call vote – all yes.
Receipts were reported for December.

Minutes 12/27/21

PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 27, 2021
A regular meeting of the Birnamwood Village Board was held on Monday evening, December 27, 2021 at the Matsche Center.
Trustees R. Resch & Behm were absent.
Also present: Luke Reimer, Tom Gatz & Dylan Walkush
President Sprague called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Dylan Walkush inquired about the WWTP assistant position.
Minutes were read and approved.
Bills were presented.
Schmidt/Dombrowski m/s/c to approve bills. Roll call vote – all yes.
Complaints were received about snow plowing issues.
Repairs were made at the lift station and the influent sampler also needs repair.
A request was made for an additional street light on State Rd.
Schmidt/E. Resch m/s/c to grant a $1,500.00 increase for the clerk/treasurer effective
January 1, 2022 with all voting yes with Klumpyan abstaining and Sprague voting yes.
Next meeting January 10, 2022.
