New Ordinances

The Village Board has adopted new ordinances for Cross Connection Control, Well Abandonment & Well Operation Permits, Storage/Shipping Containers, Winter Parking Restrictions, Fireworks Restrictions and Building and/or Utility Information Permits. PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 24, 2020
A regular meeting of the Birnamwood Village Board was held on Monday evening, August 24, 2020
at the Matsche Center.
All members were present.
Also present: Tom Gatz, Jennie & Benji Schmidt, Chris Jensen & Ed Resch.
President Sprague called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Discussion was held in regard to the bill Schmidt & Schulta received for sewer work. 
Minutes were read and approved. 
Bills were presented.
R.Resch/Schmidt m/s/c to approve bills as presented. Roll call vote – all yes. 
Asbestos removal at Backes store done.
DNR has approved ATV/UTV use on bike trail. Needs approval from Shawano County yet.
Behm/Klumpyan m/s/c to adopt Cross Connection Control Ordinance #20-8-1. Roll call vote – all yes
R. Resch/Schmidt m/s/c to adopt Well Abandonment & Well Operation Permit Ordinance #20-8-2. 
Roll call vote – all yes.
R. Resch/Behm m/s/c to adopt Storage/Shipping Container Ordinance #20-8-3. Roll call vote – all yes
Klumpyan/R. Resch m/s/c to adopt Winter Parking Restrictions Ordinance #20-8-4. Roll call vote – all yes
Schmidt/Dombrowski m/s/c to adopt Fireworks Restrictions Ordinance #20-8-5. Roll call vote – all yes
Klumpyan/Schmidt m/s/c to adopt Building and/or Utility Information Permit Ordinance #20-8-6. 
Roll call vote – all yes.
Klumpyan/R. Resch to accept proposal from Kautza Excavating for Phase 2 in the Corazalla sub-division for 
approximately $9,000-$11,000. Roll call vote all yes.
