| The bids received for the tennis court resurfacing were too high to be considered at this time. | ||
| Tom Gatz spoke in regard to opening the bike trails for ATV/UTV use. Miriam stated that Don Aanonson is | ||
| spearheading the project and we should contact him. | ||
| President Sprague will talk with Les Siegal in regard to the signage left behind at the fireworks store. | ||

| Also present: Aaron Damrau, Anne Drinkwater & Ed Resch. |
| President Sprague called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. |
| Pledge of Allegiance was recited. |
| Aaron Damrau is running for Menominee-Shawano County District Attorney and spoke about |
| his running platform. |
| Minutes were read and approved. |
| Bills were presented.R.Resch/Schmidt m/s/c to approve bills as presented. Roll call vote – all yes. Alliant will be building a new power station behind the current one on State Rd. Preliminary workis being completed. Asbestos removal at Backes store should be done first week of August. Kautza Excavate after.Fencing and gate completed at the Ball Park. Birchwood additional parking and path to pond complete. It was determined that the empty land next to the Legion Hall and park are actually considered part of the street. Property will need to be surveyed and then street vacated and land assigned to the adjoining properties. Trustee Dombrowski submitted samples of ordinances for Fireworks, Storage/Shipping Containers,Winter parking restrictions and Citations for review. She also submitted a Building permit ordinance and permit forms for review. It was decided to join the WI Towns Association. It will cost $96.00 to have the ads removed from the Village website. Kelly Gutowski will continue to administer the site. Village Attorney for Shawano County, Katherine Sloma has been appointed to Judge position. Behm/Dombrowski m/s/c to purchase ICX voting machine which is similar to current voting machine. Approximate cost will be $3,200.00. Roll call vote – all yes. Schmidt/R. | President Sprague spoke with Shawano Cty. Sherriff. We could hire coverage at $75 an hour for 3 hour | |
| intervals, during specified times. This would happen if officers volunteer to cover these hours. | |
| Clerk has applied for WEC Cares Subgrant. | |
| Offer to Purchase has been signed for Backes property. Contract signed with REI for asbestos removal. | |
| Ditches and culverts complete on Birch St. and High St. Behm/Schmidt m/s/c to hire K & D Construction to clean out | |
| ditchline from Joann Olson property to Lyons Rd and beyond 200′ at a cost of $1,150.00. Roll call vote – all yes. | |
| Fine screens on sewer intake power system blew out and were repaired. | |
| Trustee Dombrowski shared what she learned in regard to winter overnight parking and snow removal and street | |
| maintenance ordinances. She also spoke with Village of Wittenberg clerk in regard to their code book. She will | |
| continue to research costs and sources of help for us to complete this project. | |
| Clerk received a complaint for nuisance weed violation at 448 Wausau St. A letter was sent. | |
