PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING JULY 13, 2020

A regular meeting of the Birnamwood Village Board was held on Monday evening, July 13, 2020
at the Matsche Center.
All members were present.
Also present: Tom Gatz, Larry Kessen, Chris Jensen, Diane Haas, Richard Olson, David Humblet & Ed Resch.
President Sprague called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Larry Kessen asked if we had considered sealcoating Matthew Dr.
David Humblet spoke on behalf of the American Legion in regard to their property lines.
Minutes were read and approved. 
Bills were presented.
R.Resch/Schmidt m/s/c to approve bills as presented. Roll call vote – all yes. 
We now own the Backes Store property. Asbestos removal can start.
Sand & mulch will be put around the new merry go rounds. 
An estimate of $41,055.00 was received from Hanson Sanitation for 4 culverts to be installed.
Trustee Dombrowski reported that we can join the Towns Association for $800.00 and they will assist with 
our ordinance, zoning and permits updates. She will contact WI League of Municipalities to compare.
Dombrowski/Behm m/s/c to adopt resolution 20-7-01 for CMAR. Roll call vote – all yes.
A grant in the amount of $801.50 was received from the WEC CARES.
Discussion was held about the many fireworks that have been ignited in the area. No permits were obtained.
Trustee Dombrowski suggested our website needs to be updated. Too many ads popping up. 
Receipts were reported for June.
