A regular meeting of the Birnamwood Village Board was held on Monday evening, March 9, 2020 |
at the Matsche Center. | |
All members were present. | |
Also present: Tom Gatz, Chris Jensen, Pam Fischer, Diane Haas & Ed Resch. |
President Sprague called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. |
Pledge of Allegiance was recited. | |
Librarian Pam Fischer presented Board members with a packet of events happening at the library. |
Minutes were read and approved. | |
Bills were presented. | |
Schmidt/Behm m/s/c to approve bills as presented. Roll call vote – all yes. |
No response from Attorney, maybe time to get a new attorney. |
A new benefits package for all employees needs to be drawn up. |
Sale did not go through for Backes Store. Ed Resch is working on a proposal for the Village to purchase. |
Committees deferred until April. | |
Need to change our ordinances to allow penalties to be assessed by constable or other member |
and need to appoint a constable. | |
Discussion was held in regard to the Coronavirus and plans if it becomes necessary. If residents ask, |
we can refer them to the CDC link hhtps://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html. |
Bwd. Lions Club will be having their annual spaghetti dinner in April. BAES Pancake Breakfast will be |

Receipts for February were reported. | |
Parks committee will meet Tuesday, March 10th at 9:00 a.m. |
