| President Sprague called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. | ||
| Pledge of Allegiance was recited. | ||
| Diane Haas stated there is a rabbit problem in the village. | ||
| Mike & Sandy Hable need a building permit. | ||
| Bid opening for High St. paving was held at 6:30. | ||

| Survey to be done on empty land next to Legion Hall and Village Park for approximately $1,000.00. | ||
| School has donated the stagecoach that was in front of the school to the Village. It will be placed in Birchwood. | ||
| Bid was received from Kautza Excavating for $6,076.00 to do the ditching on Corazalla Dr. | ||
| Klumpyan/R. Resch m/s/c to accept Kautza bid. Roll call vote – all yes. | ||
| Culverts will cost approximately $2,000.00. Chris will order them. | ||
| Ordinances for Winter Parking, Storage/Shipping Containers, Fireworks & Building Permits were reviewed. | ||
| ATV ordinance will be left as is. | ||
| Trustee Dombrowski took photos of all the area businesses, parks etc. to be put on the Village website. | ||
| Behm/Klumpyan m/s/c to grant picnic license to the American Legion for August 16th. | ||
| The bids received for the tennis court resurfacing were too high to be considered at this time. | ||
| Tom Gatz spoke in regard to opening the bike trails for ATV/UTV use. Miriam stated that Don Aanonson is | ||
| spearheading the project and we should contact him. | ||
| President Sprague will talk with Les Siegal in regard to the signage left behind at the fireworks store. | ||

| at the Matsche Center. | |
| All members were present. | |
| Also present: Tom Gatz, Chris Jensen, Diane Haas, Jim Dalbec & Ed Resch. | |
| President Sprague called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. | |
| Pledge of Allegiance was recited. | |
| Jim Dalbec would like to set up his concession stand in Remington’s parking lot. Item will be put on agenda for next meeting. | |
| Minutes were read and approved with change being made to state Trustee Schmidt voted no on fireworks motion. | |
| Bills were presented. | |
| Schmidt/R.Resch m/s/c to approve bills as presented. Roll call vote – all yes. | |
| Doesn’t seem to be any regulations anymore in regard to the coronavirus. | |
| Chris continues to move the speed sign around on various streets. Violations continue. Shawano County sheriff | |
| to be notified. | |
| Board of Review was held June 3. Gordy Meyer will be retiring and a new assessor will need to be hired. He also | |
| recommended a reassessment of the Village be done at that time. | |
| Ed Resch gave a report on Backes Store purchase. Attorney will be contacted. Contract will Kautza Exc. Was signed for demolition. | |
| Ball park fence is complete. | |
| Chris reported on progress of Birch and High Street projects. Discussion was held on Corazalla Dr. project. Hanson Sanitation | |
| will be consulted. | |
| Sewer cleaners went through. Problems on 1st Ave and a manhole is needed on Tower St. | |
| Splitter box is being installed at wastewater plant. I trackers have been moved and will be checked after the next storm. | |
| Trustee Dombrowski has been checking on ordinances and also found that the size of Village Board can be changed by | |
| adoption of ordinance. | |
| Behm/Dombrowski m/s/c to approve licenses for Birnamwood Little League. Roll call vote – all yes. | |
| Shawano County is in need of someone to mow the lawn at 405 Maple St. Forest Cemetery and St. Philomena’s are also | |
| in need of lawn mowers. | |
