PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 28, 2022
A regular meeting of the Birnamwood Village Board was held on Monday evening, February 28, 2022 at the Matsche Center.
Trustee Behm was absent.
Also present: Tom Gatz & Chris Jensen
President Sprague called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Minutes were read and approved.
Bills were presented.
Dombrowski/Klumpyan m/s/c to approve bills. Roll call vote – all yes.
President Sprague will be meeting with Attorney in regard to the Legion lot on Wed.
Clerk will ad newspaper to email list for agendas.
Schmidt/E. Resch m/s/c to accept proposal from Total Energy Systems for generator maintenance at $2,200.00 for the 1st & 4th years, $585.00 for years 2 & 3 and $640.00 for years 5 & 6. Roll call vote – all yes.
New voting machine has been picked up and training to be held. It will be used at the April 5th election.
We can use ARPA funds for workers during Covid and towards our share of Hwy N replacement.

2/14/22 Board minutes
PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 14, 2022
A regular meeting of the Birnamwood Village Board was held on Monday evening, February 14, 2022 at the Matsche Center.
Trustee Dombrowski was absent.
Also present: Tom Gatz, Chris Jensen, Bob Zillman, Bob Ecker, Rueben Eckardt, David Dieck, Joshua Weix and members of the WAC – Christina, Lee, Maverick & Julie
President Sprague called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Bob Ecker & David Dieck filed complaints in regard to snow plowing.
Bob Zillman had questions in regard to elections.
Rueben Eckardt questioned meeting postings, ballpark Handicap accessibility & Village truck usage.
Joshua Weix is the new pastor at the Wausau Alliance Church on Elm St. They are having a fellowship dinner on March 13th. All are welcome. First church service will be April 3rd. Welcome to Birnamwood.
Minutes were read and approved.

Schmidt/Klumpyan m/s/c to approve bills. Roll call vote – all yes.
President Sprague has contacted Atty. Sarah Ruffi in regard to the American Legion lot
and utility easement on Corazalla Dr.
Grant Bristol from Shawano County reported they will be repaving County Highway N through the Village this year. He is preparing an estimate for our cost to do our portion of the road.
Pumping at the wells is down to 60%. Cost to rehab both wells is $8,000-$14,000 each plus chemicals at approximately $7,400.00. Schmidt/Behm m/s/c to proceed with rehabbing the wells. Roll call vote – all yes.
Behm/Klumpyan m/s/c to continue with our 5 year plan of cleaning and televising sewer lines at $44.50 per foot for 5,000 feet. Roll call vote – all yes.
Additional information is needed for the Total Energy Systems quote for generator maintenance.
Building permit was received for Dave Backes.
Receipts were reported for January.
